Worst movies of 2006

MSN.com has come out with the worst movies of 2006 .

Here is the list. I'm surprised (and not, at the same time) that Eragon (careful, the site has lots of flash and sucks if you have a slow PC like mine) was there. And patted myself on the back that I saved some money waiting for "Lady in the Water" to be released on DVD ..... so I can rent it cheap, I seriously doubt anyone is buying the DVD.

Worst trailers of 2006 ? (Yes, they have a list for that too). Here you go..... (Personally, I think that the "Accepted" trailer sucked more than the others



and should have been ranked way above than where it actually is ... and if we go by the premise of a movie, it will rank near the top of the worst list).

I tried doing a search for worst movies of Bollywood for 2006 and as always we Indians are late to the party. We don't have a list. At least googling for it did not provide significant results.

Now, one reason could be that the list got too long ..... another could be that the sheer number of movies to filter daunted the few that attempted to create such a list.

By the by, methinks that going by the crap (qualitative and quantitative) churned out by all and sundry in Bollywood in 2006, we may need to create lists sorted by actors (Govinda, Shah Rukh etc.) , directors (Priya'copycat'darshan, Sanjay'copycat'Gupta) and so on ......
